The impressive number of participants at this year's IMC - almost double that of previous years - underlines the spirit of European cooperation and the growing interest in strategic management and entrepreneurial thinking. EUREL is equally excited about the new collaboration with TOPSIM, our supporting partner specializing in business simulations. TOPSIM brings an enhanced level of expertise and interactivity to the competition, allowing participants to gain practical insights into real-world management challenges.

A Unique Learning Experience

The International Management Cup is an innovative online business simulation designed to help young engineers and students develop leadership, teamwork, and strategic thinking skills. Participants step into the role of a management board, making key decisions in marketing, finance, and human resources. Through realistic scenarios and hands-on experience, teams learn to analyse data, solve complex problems, and collaborate effectively—all crucial skills for success in today’s engineering landscape.

Teams consist of 2–4 young professionals or students under the age of 35 years from all EUREL Member Associations specializing in electrical, electronic, or related engineering fields. This format ensures a dynamic, team-oriented environment where participants can learn from each other’s strengths and build lasting professional connections.

Young Engineers Panel

Thanks to the tireless support of the Young Engineers Panel 2.0, EUREL has successfully expanded the IMC to include a greater number of teams, reflecting our shared commitment to cross-border collaboration and a European approach. By bringing together Young Engineers from different countries and backgrounds, YEP 2.0 fosters a dynamic network that values and encourages collective learning across national boundaries.

The excitement surrounding the IMC will reach its peak in the final round, when the winning teams will be invited to attend the yearly European Future Technology Summit in Brussels at the beginning of September.
